I am James McDermott. My wife Cindy and I have been blessed by God with 13 children. We also homeschool and above all, we are Christians. We recently started a website called Christian family meeting place (www.christianfamilymeetingplace.com). Many who hold our views are isolated and are looking for online fellowship, personal fellowship, churches, and even spouses. I am inviting you to register. It is free. If you’re not interested, that is perfectly fine. May God bless you in all you do for Him. – In the Vine, Jim for Cindy and the rest
P.S. We also publish SALT Magazine. If you would like to check us out go to http://www.saltmagazine.com

Hi Sarah, I was perusing the various websites that Google gave me when searching for info on the Whole 30 challenge. I got the lowdown of the plan on the actual Whole 30 website, which includes tons of feedback from participants. But digging further for related blogs, I opened your page and found a warm and sweet person who loves the Lord. For icing on the cake, you posted menus, snacks, and recipes!!! What more could I ask for?
I’m still a bit unsure as it is almost the total opposite of what I’ve been doing and have had success with in the past as far as lowering cholesterol and shedding some pounds: cut out beef, ate a variety of whole grains every day, etc. etc.
But last night I thought I’d just go ahead and try it, starting with breakfast this morning. So there I am, looking at that sad egg before I even broke it open yet, and thought, “I’ve got to eat that all by itself? Ugh. I steamed some asparagus to eat with it, and at least my plate looked more appetizing. I cooked the egg over-easy because I didn’t think I’d like the texture of a scrambled egg all by itself. Well, I couldn’t resist getting out one piece of 7-grain bread to eat with the yolk. So there was my first attempt. This definitely takes a shift of perspective.
I didn’t have time to look at your menus before fixing breakfast this morning, but I’m looking forward to perusing your pages. One enemy of any plan is boredom, and you have certainly solved that. The other enemy is unpreparedness, and that’s up to me to get my shopping list and have everything I need on hand.
You must be having your baby about now! You don’t need to respond to this – just mainly giving you a shout and saying, Thank You” for all the work with menus, recipes, and other tips. You’re awesome!
God bless you and your family,
Jo
Only wanna remark that you have a very nice web site , I love the style it actually stands out.
Thank you Adelaida!!
I was looking for paleo recipes and happened upon your site and the 30 day challenge with menus. I love how inviting and warm your site is and the menu planning is something that I struggle with and appreciate very much! Thank you for the time and energy you put into sharing your knowledge and care. You have a beautiful family.
Thanks Sharon. What kind words. I am so glad that you found me. I’m planning on making it a little easier to find the menu plans by categorizing them a little better. Planning can be a struggle for me as well but I feel so much better when it is done.
