Day 2 of the Whole 30 Challenge
Woke up during the night of day 2 with a blazing headache. I saw every hour but the 5′s and am feeling the affects. Praise the Lord the headachebegan to diminish by early afternoon and was gone by late afternoon. If it wasn’t, you wouldn’t be hearing about it. I’d be curled up in bed feeling sorry for myself and probably eating ice cream. My body is detoxing already. That is good news and means I am accomplishing my goal of a healthier body.
Even though I was feeling horrid, I knew that I needed to eat some breakfast. On the menu for yesterday was Sweet Potato Hash with a couple eggs on the side. It was super easy (a must with the way I was feeling) and tasty, just eating helped get me on with my day. I would highly recommend trying it. Both the Sweet Potato Hash and the eating of breakfast. I have never been a big breakfast eater and know that I should be. I think eating a good protein packed breakfast each day is the reason I am not feeling hungry. I haven’t had the desire to snack late morning on something carb loaded.
Here we are partway into day 3 and I actually think I might make it through the week. How are you doing?
